After the last week… Now with extra cold 🥶 We can help you learn to enjoy the cold water safely - here’s the cold water coaching we have coming up @salfordwsc on Sunday 30th November. We have a mixture of 121/221s and an intro to cold water swimming ⛄️121 or 221s- These are bespoke sessions tailored to your and your cold water aims. ⛄️Intro to cold water- this group session is the place to start. Ideal for open water swimmers wanting learn more about winter swimming or for those interested in about cold water swimming. We cover the essentials to help you safely enjoy cold water. Fun fact, the water is currently warmer at Salford Watersports Centre than it usually is in April/May 😲 This will be one of the last chances for regular season open water coaching for 2025 (the Winter swimming season is on its way). If you’re thinking about a triathlon or open water event next year, you could give yourself a head start on 2026. The water temperature is currently warmer than April/May! Are you interested in winter swimming? Starting now means you can acclimatise down with the water temperature – a much gentler way to do it (and you’ll be ready for the Halloween swim too 👻) Or perhaps you’re wanting to make the most of the remainder of the regular season? ➡️ Intro to Open Water Swimming: 10:45-11:15am – The place for everyone to start. We’ll cover skills and tips to help keep yourself safe in open water ➡️ 1-2-1s and 2-2-1s: 9:15-9:45am and 11:30-12pm – Bespoke sessions tailored to your specific goals. We can also cover anything from our workshops. If you’ve attended one of our sessions earlier in the year, it can also be a chance to check in with your progress. As the light fades, we may need to bring the closing time forward week by week 🌇. 👉 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞: ✨ 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐦𝐬 🕔 Thursdays – 16:00–19:00 - General Swim – £6 (finish times may reduce as the evenings draw in) ✨ 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐦𝐬 🕤 09:30–11:45 - General Swim – £6 🌡 Sundays continue all year, even after the evening sessions finish for the season. From late October we’ll move into our Cold Water Swim Sundays, so there’s always a chance to keep swimming.
